Verity Research
Verity Research produces original social science research on the issues shaping contemporary life - from family formation and demographic change to social capital, community health, and human flourishing. Our monthly data insights translate complex trends into clear, accessible findings on topics such as marriage and birthrates, mental health, and the social fabric of local communities.
Through the Verity Research Lab, an applied social science data lab for advanced undergraduate students, we partner with external organizations to design, execute, and publish commissioned research on topics of public significance. Past projects have examined the ideological gap in fertility across the United States, explored faith, political engagement, and social belonging among Christians in Scotland, and investigated medical debt erasure as a vehicle for church-based community ministry.
